This highly practical joint injection course is aimed at practitioners who would like to improve or develop their assessment, diagnosis and management skills of musculoskeletal conditions.
Delegates will develop an understanding of the use of injections in the management of joint and soft tissue pathology and advance their professional responsibility towards injection practice.
The day will be split between a series of short lectures and small practical group work. Delegates will practice and develop hands-on skills to inject joints using simulation anatomical models. All models have conductive systems that provide audio feedback when a specific internal structure is touched with a needle.
The course is suitable for GPs, GP trainees, hospital doctors and allied health professionals
*More time with injection models will be available at the end of the course for anyone who feels they need it
A certificate of attendance is awarded on completion of the course.
