Anaphylactic reactions are potentially life-threatening and can happen to anyone at any time, even with no previous allergies or reactions. This course has been designed to provide an overview of the causes, signs, symptoms and treatments in accordance with the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Suitable for: Parents, Nurseries, Schools, Child minders, Youth Groups and Clubs, Colleges, Universities and Businesses.

Course content:

• The definition of anaphylaxis
• Recognising moderate and severe reactions
• The initial management and treatment of an anaphylactic reaction (including the use of adrenaline and epi-pens)
• Paediatric resuscitation
• Practical steps to reduce further reactions.
